SuccessFactors Business Analyst

The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly experienced and agile professional with at least 5 years broad industry experience in SuccessFactors development and maintenance. In-depth understanding of various SAP modules and its configuration. Knowledge of Business Intelligence systems to have effective dealings and manage venders and suppliers

Based in Melbourne, this position will have the opportunity to work closely with our Chief Information Officer, People and Culture team across business to further develop, implement, and maintain the Group’s People & Culture tool, SuccessFactors. Responsibilities include understanding the needs of users from a group perspective, understanding what has been developed so far, identifying gaps in delivery, module configuration and master data process management including maintaining and further developing the SuccessFactors system so that it remains an updated relevant company-wide tool. Coordination of vendors and the training of employees is also a critical component of the role

About You

To succeed in this role, you must have an in-depth understanding of various SAP modules and its configuration and maintenance. SAP – SuccessFactors certified and strong detail orientation and ability to keep data integrity through multiple transactions. Experience in communication with various personality types and levels of urgency to effectively communicate requests and instructions to individuals and groups. Ability to facilitate cross functional areas of concerns. Able to develop and implement technical and administrative procedures and processes. With superior problem-solving, organisational and planning skills. With sound project management skills.

To meet the key requirements of the position, it’s essential you’re able to demonstrate results in:

  • Further Development SuccessFactors
    • Understand and assess the current reporting requirements/status of SuccessFactors development/implementation –Gap Analysis;
    • Outline and implement steps for completion, and project manage with the assistance of external consultants;
    • Test and implement system corrections and enhancements;
    • Reduce the reporting timeline so that business processes are delivered to the key stake holders;
    • Assist in the development of robust Human Resources processes across the function and company;
    • Assist the business by configuration of the various Success Factors modules’
    • Develop analytics reports as may be required;
    • Develop reporting along the lines of well-balanced dashboards and KPI’s to ensure effective and concise reports enabling the business to focus on areas for improvement;
    • Champion and actively encourage system and process improvements consistent across the entity;
  • SuccessFactors Maintenance
    • Maintain the SuccessFactors modules including supporting creation of new accounts, the SAP release schedule management, investigating and resolving issues, ensuring the integrity of systems and output reports;
    • Support the People & Culture teams to use the system to perform group reporting and analysis of results;
  • Operational support/General
    • Act as first line User support for SuccessFactors system;
    • Train staff and end-users on the functionality;
    • Analyse and improve employee and People & Culture reporting systems;
    • Assess and understand processes and systems used and areas of inefficiencies’
    • Log and track user queries, improvement requests and actions taken and coordinate with the vendor;
    • Develop policy, procedure, user documentation and training materials and perform training and support for users;
    • Manage the relationship with the SAP team and support vendors;
    • Stay current with release schedules and have strong product awareness;
    • Coordinate the respective internal support resources at each business unit;
    • Champion the use of the system at the various mine sites and offices;
