The role

We are looking for a qualified Automotive Mechanic to join our Underground Maintenance team at our Waihi Operation. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for the servicing, repairs and maintenance of all underground light vehicles. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, able to work independently/safely and contribute to a team environment.

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Relevant trade qualification
  • Full New Zealand driver's licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle
  • Minimum two years post apprenticeship experience
  • Mining industry and Toyota four-wheel drive experience is an advantage
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and physical assessment
