This role manages and maintains the site infrastructure associated with offices and facilities under the ownership of OceanaGold.  Ensuring all legal compliance activities are undertaken on time, buildings and landscapes are maintained and managed to a high standard of care. 

Key responsibilities:-

• Management and delivery of OceanaGold water infrastructure and septic waste systems, ensuring compliance and safety standards are met.
• Liaising with the Environmental team to ensure relevant consents are in place and applied for in a timely manner.
• Applying for Building permits and project managing alterations to site facilities.
• Providing project management & maintenance of company properties and land.
• Managing Contracts including the development of Service Contracts
• Co-ordinating and undertaking building compliance inspections. Ensuring company building compliance is maintained.
• To develop and update relevant SOP’s and other specific documentation
• Co-ordinating the maintenance and landscaping of residential properties, site and project work areas.

• Full and Current Driver Licence, ability to drive manual vehicles is preferred.
• Civil Engineering degree or qualification would be an advantage
• Infrastructure & facilities management experience preferred.
• At least 5 years’ experience in a contractor management role preferred, preferably in an engineering or construction environment
