Job Description
You will operate the Charmec and charge basket for the purpose of preparing and charging blast holes for stope production, development and for miscellaneous charging. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our growing underground team.
- Load Charmec and charge baskets according to charge plan and ensure stock count is accurate
- Clean Charge machines and baskets regularly, keep housekeeping standards high
- Ability to charge up and down holes
- Refuel charge machines regularly
- Ensure site is prepared, packed up and cleaned up at the start and finish of jobs
- Give a thorough shift changeover and pass on relevant information to cross shift
- Provide support to the development charge crew as and when required
- Perform all work and associated functions safely
Qualifications
- Full and current driver license and confidence driving manual vehicles over rough terrain
- 2-3 years underground mining experience
- Must have service crew, development, and production charge-up experience
- Current First Aid Certificate
