Job Description

About the role:

OceanaGold is seeking a professional and highly motivated individual to join our Investor Relations team at our corporate headquarters in Vancouver, BC. Reporting to the Director-Investor Relations, you will work in a dynamic environment and be tasked with various activities relating to investor relations, including coordinating communication and engagement with investors. Your strong attention to detail and methodical approach to task completion will ensure your success in this rewarding junior level corporate appointment.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Support the development of a robust investor relations strategy and framework
  • Assist in the preparation of investor materials, including presentations, reports, financial disclosures, investor events and site tours
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams both internally and externally to ensure accurate and timely delivery of investor-related information
  • Understand and summarize key market findings and investor feedback for Management and the Board of Directors
  • Ensure and maintain high levels of confidentiality.
  • Ad-hoc business support for the corporate development team on an as needed basis.
  • Some travel to conference and investor events is expected.   

Qualifications

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or related field.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office notably Excel and PowerPoint.
  • 2+ years of experience in investor relations, communications, or related roles.
  • Demonstrated communication skills strong attention to detail.
  • Natural resources, or mining industry experience is highly desirable but not required.
  • Strong energy and interest in joining a high-performing and dynamic corporate development team.
