This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects, leverage your technical expertise, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to deliver exceptional IT solutions.
Some Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver small IT infrastructure projects from start to finish, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Conduct business, systems, and technical analysis to identify challenges and propose solutions.
- Design, document, configure, test, and implement on-premise and cloud infrastructure projects.
- Ensure compliance with IT standards, governance, and security requirements.
- Implement disaster recovery solutions, backups, and security measures for new systems.
- Collaborate with IT teams (network, security, applications, etc.) to align project goals and requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including system diagrams and procedural guides.
- Stay informed on emerging IT infrastructure technologies and provide improvement recommendations.
- Work closely with project managers, leadership, and vendors to deliver successful outcomes.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Endpoint Administrator, or VMware Certified Professional (VCP) are highly desirable.
Experience and Skills:
- Foundation and practical experience in project management methodologies (e.g., Prince 2, Agile, PMP) – desirable.
- Hands-on experience with ITIL framework and IT Service Management principles.
- 5-10 years of proven experience in IT engineering, focusing on project execution and delivery, business/technical analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
- Background in consulting or professional services – highly regarded.
- Experience coordinating technical IT site teams and vendors across local and international locations.
- Demonstrated expertise in vendor and stakeholder management, including working with senior management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, risk assessment, and change management skills.
- Excellent technical writing and documentation abilities.
Technical Expertise:
- Knowledge of virtualization, containerization, backup/DR strategies, and certificate management.
- Proficiency in server and storage technologies, including Windows, Linux, VMware, and SAN/NAS systems.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and SD-WAN.
