IT Project Engineer and Analyst

This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects, leverage your technical expertise, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to deliver exceptional IT solutions.

Some Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver small IT infrastructure projects from start to finish, ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Conduct business, systems, and technical analysis to identify challenges and propose solutions.
• Design, document, configure, test, and implement on-premise and cloud infrastructure projects.
• Ensure compliance with IT standards, governance, and security requirements.
• Implement disaster recovery solutions, backups, and security measures for new systems.
• Collaborate with IT teams (network, security, applications, etc.) to align project goals and requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including system diagrams and procedural guides.
• Stay informed on emerging IT infrastructure technologies and provide improvement recommendations.
• Work closely with project managers, leadership, and vendors to deliver successful outcomes.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Endpoint Administrator, or VMware Certified Professional (VCP) are highly desirable.

Experience and Skills:

• Foundation and practical experience in project management methodologies (e.g., Prince 2, Agile, PMP) – desirable.
• Hands-on experience with ITIL framework and IT Service Management principles.
• 5-10 years of proven experience in IT engineering, focusing on project execution and delivery, business/technical analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
• Background in consulting or professional services – highly regarded.
• Experience coordinating technical IT site teams and vendors across local and international locations.
• Demonstrated expertise in vendor and stakeholder management, including working with senior management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, risk assessment, and change management skills.
• Excellent technical writing and documentation abilities.

Technical Expertise:

• Knowledge of virtualization, containerization, backup/DR strategies, and certificate management.
• Proficiency in server and storage technologies, including Windows, Linux, VMware, and SAN/NAS systems.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and SD-WAN.
