Seeking a suitably qualified and reliable Governance & Compliance Officer (Tenement & National Permits) to be based at Makati office who will be responsible for the timely, accurate and efficient preparation and management of permits and compliances related to the Company’s tenement. The role includes liaising and/or organizing tenement permitting and compliance activities to ensure that goals are achieved. The role will report to the Permitting and Compliance Supervisor.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Maintain/establish a positive relationship with government stakeholders to facilitate strategy execution
- Ensure that license processing, compliance report, and submissions of tenement data/national permits are recorded and reported in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Ensure the regular review of the tenement registry, national permits and assist in generating precise and accurate reports and timely submission to regulatory agencies as required
- Manages centralized correspondence register, filing, sorting, and control of all relevant permitting and compliance documents
- Liaise and communicate with the government agencies for matters related to reports and other permit compliances
- Behaviour consistent with OceanaGold Values and the OceanaGold Way
- Graduate of any 4-year related course
- Experienced working in tenement and national permitting and compliance, liaising role of large corporations or mining industries
- Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- With good communication skills both in oral & written
- With Professional Driver’s license is an advantage
