Operate the processing plant as part of the production crew while also carrying out routine maintenance of the processing plant and the entire site equipment to the required standards of performance and safety.

• Learn all areas of the plant such as Loader, Grinding, Tanks, and WTP/Tailings
• Action’s Priority 1 W/O’s in relation to plant breakdowns as directed by process Supervisor
• Carry out routine mechanical maintenance of process plant as per the weekly plan
• Coach and develop operators around simple maintenance tasks, PM’s and reliability management

• First Aid Certificate
• Full Manual Drivers Licence
• Formal trade qualification
• Certification as a trade (preferably Fitter or Fitter/Turner or Electrician)
• Exposure to jobs engineering or heavy industries
• Exposure to mining or mineral processing industries is useful
