Job Description

OceanaGold are seeking a suitably qualified and reliable Community Development Fund (CDF) Administrative Assistant to be based in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya on a Project basis to coordinate section activities, provide clerical support and technical assistance to the technical and operations teams to ensure a smooth flow of activities in the section by managing its facilities, assets, and database. The role will report to the Community Development Fund (CDF) Senior Engineer.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Assists section members in clerical works such as scanning, photocopying, filing of hard and softcopies
  • Manages the Community Development Fund Office and its supplies
  • Ensures Community Development Fund Offices’ poster/bulletin (OGPI Values, Code of Conduct, Health and Safety Bulletin and policies from other departments) are updated
  • Organizes and process requests for quotations, purchasing and warehouse withdrawals as needed within the section
  • Maintains and update the Community Development Fund database (roster schedule, billings, stakeholders’ database)
  • Handles department visitors and consultants travel, accommodation, meal, and site access
  • Collects and record Community Development Fund data and update, project registry and other databases required by the supervisor for monitoring and recording
  • Ensures the integrity of data recorded through reconciliations
  • Assist the team in the consolidation and filing of reports such as daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual, annual, planning, and engineering reports
  • Assist in the facilitation of contracts and billing processes from contractors and suppliers
  • Provides technical and clerical assistance during presentations and meetings

Qualifications

  • Behaviour consistent with OceanaGold Corp. Values and the OceanaGold Way
  • College graduate
  • At least six (6) months of relevant work experience
  • With basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Word Excel, PowerPoint, and other Software applications
  • Must display a high level of attention to details and accuracy
  • Ability to work with multi-cultural teams
  • Display good housekeeping skills and possess a high degree of Environmental and Safety awareness
  • Flexible and professional approach to duties
  • With good customer service skills
  • Good communication skills both oral and written
  • Drive for continuous improvement and innovation
