The Leadership Program is tailored to each leadership level (Supervisor, Superintendent, Manager, Senior Leader) to develop and build capability and skills to successfully lead at the right level.
Developing leaders in the context of their everyday work, and ensuring our systems line up with what leaders are learning to reinforce and reward the leadership we want more of.
Our Leadership Program consists of the following:
- Supervisor 101: designed to build foundational leadership capability, grounded in the day-to-day work of a Supervisor and anchored to our Success Ingredients.
- Operational Leadership Program: an immersive, hybrid program for Superintendents and Managers. The 12-week program includes an in-person workshop as well as virtual coaching.
- CSenior Leaders Program: Executive coaching program for our Senior Leadership Team
Each year, OceanaGold offers opportunities to 3rd and 4th year students to join our offices or sites for a period of 3 months. Our internship program is crafted to give students the chance to contribute to meaningful projects, develop critical skills, and gain a head start in their careers by gaining practical real-life experience. To this day, we still have professionals working at OceanaGold who started as an Intern. Your success really does start with us.
Intern Intake:
- Australia and New Zealand: We commence our intake in August. Holding interviews September to October. Commencing with us in December completing in time for the commencement of your semester .
- America: Advertising in September. Holding interviews October. Commencing with us in May completing in time for the commencement of your semester.
