Our Culture

Our Culture
At OceanaGold, we employ mining talent from around the world to operate our four world-class operations: Haile Gold Mine in the United States of America, Didipio Mine in the Philippines and Macraes and Waihi operations in New Zealand. These operations are supported by a global workforce with significant exploration, development and operating experience.
We are committed to enabling a culture where our people are cared for, respected and feel like they belong and are valued. Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do, fostering an environment where our global team works together to achieve extraordinary results.
Our Purpose is to mine gold for a better future. The gold, copper, and silver we produce play a vital role in renewable energy, transportation, life-saving medical technologies, and the tools that connect communities worldwide. Beyond delivering these essential materials, our operations contribute to economic growth, education, and healthcare in the regions we serve.
With over 3,700 employees and countless others indirectly supported, our purpose goes beyond mining. It’s about creating a sustainable future while improving lives through meaningful work.
