Job Description

The Didipio mine is located on Luzon Island in the Philippines and is the Company’s only asset that produces both gold and copper. Didipio was built by OceanaGold in 2013 and operates fully as underground mine, with over 800 employees that support the mine.

Seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and reliable Administration Officer- Scheduler who will responsible for preparing and maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for departmental activities, ensuring alignment with operational priorities. Supports the creation of a safe and organized work environment through effective administrative coordination and documentation. Ensures accurate and timely communication of schedules, meeting arrangements, and work orders to relevant teams and assists in the implementation of short-term scheduling strategies in collaboration with supervisors and planning personnel. The role reports to the Superintendent – Maintenance (Planning).

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and updating short-term maintenance schedules based on input from supervisors and operational teams;
  • Collect and compile data on equipment status, resource availability, and pending work requests;
  • Tracks work order status and provides regular updates to the maintenance planner and teams;
  • Supports the analysis of work order completion trends to identify minor bottlenecks;
  • Assists in verifying material requirements against maintenance schedules;
  • Coordinates with inventory team to confirm availability of spare parts and consumables;
  • Tracks and documents basic KPIs such as schedule adherence and work order completion rates;
  • Identifies and flags  minor deviations in performance for further analysis;
  • Supports the maintenance planner in data entry and updating performance dashboards;
  • Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to confirm job readiness and schedule feasibility;
  • Assists in creating, updating, and managing work orders based on priorities;
  • Supports the communication of material shortages to maintenance planner for resolution.

Qualifications

  • High School or College graduate with a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent experience in maintenance planning, asset management, or related technical field.
  • 0-1 year of experience in maintenance planning or a related field.
  • Experience in working with UG mobile and fixed plant equipment is an advantage.
  • Basic computer literacy and knowledge of maintenance management principles
  • Familiarity with maintenance operations and terminology is an advantage.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications; Word and Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-Solving Abilities.
