Job Description
- To ensure ADT Haul Truck is operated safely and in accordance with company procedures
- To report any operational hazards to the Project Supervisor
- Operate for reliability (O4R)
- Complying with site safety standards
- Working effectively with Supervisors to achieve production targets
- Reporting unsafe acts/areas in the workplace
- Perform pre-shift inspection and document appropriately
- Report any safety or mechanical problems with the equipment in accordance with company procedures
- Document and record production information
- To carry out any other activities directed by the Supervisor within the employee’s competence, this may include manual labor activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months experience operating ADT Haul Trucks; experience with other mobile equipment preferred
- Ability to operate in continuously changing environments and work unsupervised
- Proficiency in English for communication, understanding work instructions, and safety procedures
- Previous mining experience is desirable but not essential
- Must pass pre-employment drug test and company physical
- Ability to operate common vehicles and small 4x4 roving vehicles in off-road and adverse weather conditions
- HGM promotes a drug/alcohol-free work environment with mandatory pre-employment and random drug testing
