Job Description
- Effectively coordinates assigned activities to ensure timely and on target implementation of programs and project.
- Ability to execute project plans to achieve objectives within the identified timeframe.
- Develop project plans with clear objectives and tasks, considering timelines, resources, and dependencies.
- Ability to support the company’s plans and programs by appropriating operations budget in alignment with the organization’s strategic plans, and monitoring budget performance as to revenues, operating and capital expenditures, thereby supporting the achievement of organizational goals.
- Ability to identify, analyze, evaluate, and deal with risks relative to the achievement of goals and targets of the organization
- Ability to oversee, check, and validate that all activities and deliverables are accomplished at the desired level of excellence that provides confidence to all stakeholders that the organization’s goals and objectives are being achieved and compliance to all regulatory, internal, and external stakeholder’s requirements is being maintained.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills and drive on-site team productivity.
Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualifications – Licensed Ming/Civil/Mechanical Engineering
- Relevant 2 year engineering experience in metallic ore hard rock mining preferably underground
- With at least 2 year experience in project management, planning, scheduling and design
- With basic knowledge in budget preparation, technical writing and presentation skills
- Proficient in AUTOCAD, Microsoft project scheduling and MS Office
- Demonstrates and can provide examples of excellent critical thinking and attention to detail.
- Sound knowledge of mining industry practices and standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
