Job Description
You will be responsible for conducting general activities within the processing operations & maintenance areas as directed.
- Operate and maintain Carbon Regeneration and Desorption processes
- Operate and maintain Electrowinning and Smelting processes
- Operate Reagent mixing and transferring plant
- Monitoring and documenting Reagent levels as required
- Operate Water Cart to manage dust suppression
- Perform or assist with Process Inventory sampling
- Assist with scrap metal removal
- Be accountable for the daily adoption of plans and schedules
- Assist with maintenance activities in the processing area when required
- Perform plant isolations in accordance with site procedures
- Maintain high level of hygiene standards in specific areas
- Maintain high level of housekeeping standards in all areas
- Monitoring and troubleshooting equipment problems and reporting in a timely manner
- Entering plant data into spreadsheets
- Entering work requests and purchasing items through Pronto system
Qualifications
- Full and Current Driver Licence, ability to drive manual vehicles is preferred
- Ability to drive mobile equipment would be favourable – forklift, skid steer loader, front end loader, excavator, water cart, telehandler
- Working at heights, confined space and chemical handler experience would be favourable
