Job Description
You will be working alongside a diverse team of geologists responsible for undertaking geological and geotechnical logging for exploration, resource development and grade control drilling. Use your geological knowledge to understand and describe the mineralisation and alterations of the world class Martha epithermal gold deposit, identify historic workings and structures of geotechnical interest.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Accurate and timely collection of geological and geotechnical information
- Engage in quality assurance and control practices during the logging process and while dispatching samples.
- Supervision of core shed technicians during the sampling process
- Review and validate data, and collaborate with colleagues
Qualifications
- A tertiary qualification - minimum B Sc. Geology/Earth Science
- Sound technical skills in Geology
- Strong computer skills and computer literacy
- A full & current Driver License with the ability to drive manual vehicles.
- Post-Graduate experience preferred but not required
