Job Description
Working in our processing plant, planning maintenance activities, developing engineering details, scope of works, quality and safety plans for field execution of maintenance work.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop shutdown plans in accordance with the Shutdown Planning Procedure, ensuring the highest safety standards.
- Chair pre-shut meetings, co-ordinate shutdown requests and assist in the preparation and completion of the shutdown close-out report
- Update the Strategic Shutdown Schedule showing intended shutdown timing, duration, major plant maintenance and estimated costs information.
- Continuous Improvement in maintenance short and long term schedules using evaluative condition monitoring reports, root cause analyses and reliability evaluations.
- Undertake long term planning for planned maintenance activities and projects in accordance with planning procedures.
- Analyse maintenance costs to determine areas of significant expenditure to generate improvement initiatives and cost optimizations..
- Facilitate post shut meetings to capture and incorporate lessons learnt to future shutdowns.
Qualifications
- Relevant Engineering Trade Certificate or equivalent
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Full and Current Driver Licence, ability to drive manual vehicles is preferred.
- At least 5 years’ production (heavy industrial plant) maintenance experience, including maintenance planning and scheduling.
- Previous planning experience in a continuous production/process plant environment.
- Significant experience of fixed equipment, crushing, grinding, milling plant, rotating equipment and pressure vessels.
