Job Description
Working as part of the Macraes Processing Plant, this role will include assisting trades staff (Maintenance Fitters and Electricians), performing preventative maintenance tasks, as well as other general duties to support the Maintenance team in a safe and efficient manner. 7 on / 7 off (dayshift only) roster
- Provide routine lubrication services via a scheduled lubrication regime.
- Undertake and provide feedback of prescribed Preventative Maintenance checks.
- Assist in the Preventative Maintenance tasks of asset condition monitoring including vibration analysis, oil sampling and analysis, and database updates.
- Assist trades staff as required, including alignment and bearing tasks
- General workshop duties including the maintaining of a clean workshop to ensure a safe and tidy workspace
Qualifications
- Full and Current Driver Licence, ability to drive manual vehicles is essential.
- No formal qualification however a good mechanical aptitude will be required.
- Forklift operator’s certificate (F-endorsement) is preferred
- Previous experience in a 24-hour, continual process production environment and in a heavy industrial environment under extreme conditions is preferred but not essential
