OceanaGold is seeking a professional and highly motivated Senior Business Partner – Rewards & Performance to join our People & Culture Team. Reporting to the Group Manager, Reward and Performance, the role supports the implementation and execution of salary programs and policies involving research, analyses and development of modifications to compensation and benefits programs to meet organisation objectives and needs. Support the delivery of the annual review; provide relevant payroll, market pay, and employee engagement analyses and insights.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Provide guidance in designing and administering compensation and benefits programs with periodic review and recommendation.
- Act as subject matter expert on performance appraisal processes, and provides guidance on employee recognition and rewards.
- Act as subject matter expert on salary benchmarking and analysis.
- Collaborate with market data suppliers such as Aon and Mercer to gather and analyze industry-specific compensation and performance data. Ensure Company participation in the periodic compben survey.
- Collaborate with business leaders in the review and implementation of Company’s job architecture framework to ensure appropriate benefits are provided to the employees such as STI and LTI plans.
- Provide support and analysis on benefits changes, local country legislation, taxation, or other impacts and supports in the budget preparation considering these factors.
- Review and facilitate employee benefits entitlements (ie. statutory benefits & company-initiated benefits)
- Facilitate employee global mobilization due to intra-company transfers (ie. visa processing, relocation support, etc)
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in compensation and benefits, HR, or related fields.
- Proven experience in a remuneration and benefits role.
- Strong data analytics and HRIS skills and advanced Excel proficiency, Power BI would be an advantage.
- Solid understanding of systems and processes related to remuneration and benefits.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think laterally.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with good presentation skills and stakeholder management.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in multiple teams and contribute positively to team culture
