Join OceanaGold as a Senior Communications Advisor, a manager-level position responsible for leading strategic communications across our global operations. In this influential role, you will lead the development and execution of strategic internal and external communications that elevate our brand, engage our global workforce, and showcase our commitment to responsible mining.
From managing digital channels and media relations to leading internal campaigns and town halls, you will be at the heart of our communications strategy, building connections, enhancing engagement, and making a real impact across our global operations.
- Drive internal and external communication strategies aligned with corporate goals to enhance brand reputation and employee engagement.
- Develop compelling narratives and high-quality content across platforms factsheets, speeches, videos, blog posts, and social media.
- Oversee external digital channels and media relations, including website, social platforms, and media monitoring to grow brand awareness.
- Support the production of key corporate documents and ensure consistency and quality across all communications.
- Coordinate Town Halls, manage intranet content, and craft messages that reflect company values and connect with a global workforce.
- Partner with internal teams and external agencies to maintain brand integrity, support business initiatives, and uphold communication standards.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience, with post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Expertise in corporate communications, brand and reputation management, and employee engagement
- A talent for crafting clear, compelling messages tailored to diverse audiences and channels
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels
- Business acumen and a proactive mindset you know how to turn complex ideas into clear, engaging content
- A collaborative, creative spirit with a passion for teamwork, accountability, and having fun while delivering great work
