Assist with ensuring all Open Pit Drill and Blast activities are compliant with production targets and are completed in a safe and efficient manner.

• Achieve a pit permit for mine and safely operate vehicles in the mining area
• Assist with ensuring the security of the Magazines.
• Ensure each blast area is correctly prepared and controlled during all loading and blasting activities, in accordance to all legislative requirements and site procedures.
• Emergency procedures are carried out to legislative and site requirements

• Full and current Drivers Licence, the ability to drive manual vehicles is essential;
• First Aid Certificate.
• Mining experience and Approved Handlers Certificate beneficial
