Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to assist in the supervision of the electrical department within the Macraes processing plant and open pit mine. You will schedule and lead the electrical maintenance as planned via the maintenance planning workflow process.
Some of the key tasks and responsibilities:
- Leading, coaching and developing your crew
- Scheduling projects and work programmes
- Developing Scopes of Works
- Creation of preventive maintenance activities for equipment with a high level of plant criticality and review existing preventive maintenance plans and schedules
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and external contractors
Qualifications
- Formal Electrical trade qualification
- A minimum of 5 years post-apprenticeship experience within a processing or heavy industry environment.
- A minimum of 3 years mining industry (or equivalent heavy industry) experience.
- Previous experience in a leadership role
- Proven experience with instrumentation, PLC and control systems is essential.
- Experience scheduling and planning maintenance work would be an advantage.
- Full and current driver licence and competence driving a manual vehicle.
