Safely and efficiently operate Jumbo development drills to mine headings and install ground support as per mine standards. At all times, display a high degree of professionalism and quality of work to ensure that cost effective productivity is delivered safely and on time.
- Ensure all headings bored are mined online and to grade
- Working accurately, with minimum overbreak
- Making sure that all headings mined comply with standards
- Mentor style approach and teamwork. Lead by example and fulfil all job responsibilities competently
- Perform all work and associated functions safely.
- Full and current driver licence and confidence driving manual vehicles over rough terrain
- Current First Aid Certificate
- A minimum of 8 years underground mining experience, 2 of which operating a Jumbo
- Proven experience operating Sandvik Jumbo Drills
- Must have previous experience as a Loader Operator and Development Charge-Up.
- No more FIFO - Live and work close to the beach in Waihi NZ
- Base salary from NZ$162,000.00 – NZ$202,000.00 depending on experience
