Job Description

Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager our FP&A Superintendent will lead site functions related to management reporting for the Haile Gold Mine. The role is responsible for control over budgeting, forecasting and management reporting including the capital expenditure process. They will work collaboratively with site functions and other commercial teams across the business to drive ongoing process and system (ERP, Consolidation and Other) improvements and knowledge transfer. The FP& A Superintendent  will also manage a small team responsible for Financial and Business Analysis, Capital Management and site- based ERP functions.

  • Lead site functions related to management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure processes for Haile Gold Mine.
  • Manage and develop a team responsible for Financial and Business Analysis, Capital Management, and site-based ERP functions.
  • Provide operational reports, management accounting analysis, and advice to the Commercial Manager and Senior Management Team.
  • Oversee Site LOM Plans, Budgets, and Forecasts, including production and cost analysis for stakeholders across the business.
  • Manage the capital allocation process, track business improvement benefits, and assess capital valuations in line with company strategy and policies.
  • Develop and maintain the site financial model, collaborating with technical teams and driving process improvements across finance and commercial systems.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to direct reports while maintaining high standards of safety and integrity.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor of Commerce in Accountancy or equivalent; membership with an Institute of Chartered Accountants preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years' financial, management accounting, and commercial experience within a listed mining company environment, with advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite and ERP systems.
  • Proven experience managing teams and relationships at a senior level, with strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong safety awareness and commitment to maintaining high standards of integrity.
