Seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and reliable Supervisor-Mobile Maintenance (UG Equipment) for regular employment to ensure the maximum efficiency and availability of production equipment, and related facilities at optimal cost through systematic maintenance management to extend equipment life, work quality, commitment to safety, protection of the environment, and compliance with regulations and policies. The role will be reporting to the Superintendent-Maintenance (UG equipment)
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Ensures team compliance with Safety, Health, and Environment policies and procedures
- Coordinate on the schedule changes and decide immediately when issues or concerns arise and make sure that priority issues are managed effectively
- Establish strategies for accomplishing the new and unscheduled tasks efficiently
- Evaluate strategies and consider options for actions to achieve long-range goals and develops decision criteria considering factors such as costs, benefits, and timing, and select the strategies most likely to succeed
- Identify more critical and less critical activities and assignments; adjust priorities when appropriate
- Coordinate with the planning team on the task schedule to get the most important work done
- Determine tasks or assignment requirements such as tools, materials, and people needed for effective implementation of the plan
- Train, develop, and support team members in career development programs and opportunities for improvement

- College graduate of Engineering degree or vocational trade school graduate with sufficient work experience in the same field
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in UG mobile equipment maintenance or related industry experience and at least two (2) years in a supervisory role
- Experienced in working with contractors such as Sandvik, Normet, Volvo, and Caterpillar machines
- Higher level of troubleshooting experience and handling critical situations;
- Able to effectively engage, supervise and manage team members
- With experience in Mining Industry or equivalent industry will be highly regarded
- With a valid Professional Driver’s License
- Must be a holder of National Certificates (NC-II) for relevant trades
- With interpersonal and good communication skills both verbal and written
