Job Description
If you have experience across concrete/Agi trucks and/or batch plant activities, this role with our Macraes underground team could be for you! Working a 7 days on / 7 days off (night/shift), 7:00am/pm to 7:00pm/am roster.
This role will work to safely and efficiently carry out underground Agitator truck operations, delivering fibrecrete and concrete to shotcrete spray rigs and civil works as directed by the Mine control and Shift Supervisors. Additionally, you will ensure the underground Agitator trucks are operated and maintained to a high level and left in a clean and ready state for the next shift.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Operate the Agi Truck with basic understanding of the batch plant and spraying process
- Perform pre-start and shut down checks on all equipment to ensure units are kept clean and in a serviceable condition
- Assist with spraying and Concrete pouring operations on delivery of products to the work locations in a safe and professional manner.
- Operate equipment both day and night
- Understand underground mine layout and ground conditions
- Perform all work and associated functions safely, correctly using all PPE at the appropriate times and obeying all written and verbal health and safety instructions
Qualifications
- Full and Current Driver Licence, ability to drive manual vehicles is preferred.
Experience:
- Experience with concrete/Agi trucks and /or batch plant operations highly beneficial
- Previous underground experience preferred
